YOURSTORY, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HACKEREARTH KICKs OFF THIS SUMMER WITH A PAN INDIA HACKING CHALLENGE. We invite all HACKERS to a 24 HOURS challenge with 5 TO 6 CHALLENGING PROBLEMS to battle out against the best.

 RULES

# THE CONTEST WILL CONSIST OF FIVE CHALLENGES.

# The challenges will be a mix of algorithm puzzles, API based problems, and a codegolf challenge.

# For API based games the results will be declared after running all the API solutions.

# There may be some penalty for submitting the wrong solution in some questions.

# HackerEarth admins decision will be final

# Please refrain from discussing strategy during the contest.

# Any case of code plagiarism will result in disqualification of both the users from the contest. We've a fairly good plagiarism detector that works at the opcode level.

# You can code directly on our interface. We support 8 major languages. You can have a look at the environment in which we run your code

Top10 Talkies 'Kurumpada Thiruvizha 2013'

Towards the 3rd year, the Top10cinema is taking a huge leap.“Top10cinema” presents ‘Top10Talkies’ Kurumpada Thiruvizha 2013. This Competition is inaugrated this year for the first time and it will continue in the forthcoming years.

Since this is the first year for this short film festival, they will select 10 short films from the entries and it will bescreened in front of leading Directors and Producers in the industry. Out of those 10 short films, Top 3 short films will be gifted with prizes and awards.

 Apart from the top 3 short films, categories like best Direction, Best Music, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay etc will be recognized separately.

Deadline for Submission is 30th April 2013.

Tata Crucible - The Business Quiz

'Tata Crucible - The Business Quiz' seeks to bring together sharpest young corporate minds in India to take on the heat of the toughest business quiz in India. Youth is a key audience cluster which the Tata Group is focusing its communication at and Tata Crucible is one of the key initiatives towards this engagement.

Tata Crucible was started as a key initiative in 2004, a year which was christened as the 'Century of Trust' year to commemorate the death centenary of the Founder of the Group - J.N. Tata and the birth centenaries of two of its illustrious leaders - J.R.D. Tata and Naval H. Tata. It generated huge response as a high quality business quiz in the very first year and has now become an annual event. In a commissioned research Tata Crucible Campus Quiz has been judged highest rated ground quiz by the students of participating colleges.

The Tata Crucible Quiz is a team based contest (2 participants per team) and is held in 3 parts. Two back to back tracks - separately for Tata Corporates and Non-Tata Corporates, followed by National Finals. The third track is held for Campus students each year also followed by a National Final. Eight editions of Crucible Corporate version and Eight editions of the Crucible Campus version have been held so far to enthusiastic response.

Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2012, will now move to an additional two cities as it betters its own record of being the biggest corporate quiz in India spanning across 20 key business destinations.
